Rich was elected President of the Golf Association of Philadelphia at the annual meeting on October 22, 2008 at Philmont Country Club.
On August 26, 2008, the firm successfully completed a rigorous peer review of its accounting practice concluding that the firm complies with the stringent quality control standards set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Rich was re-elected to the board of directors of Cornerstone Bank (OTCBB.CBKJ) on April 29, 2008 and will serve on the audit committee.
Sue was a guest on the radio show Money Sense on December 17th discussing year end tax planning. Money Sense airs from 9 to 10am Saturdays on WNTP 990 AM (NewsTalk 990).
Sue and Rich were featured in the American Institute of CPAs Journal of Accountancy December 2005 article How Husband/Wife Teams Make 24/7 Work.
On November 14, 2006, Rich spoke at MoorestownHigh School on careers in accounting as part of the New Jersey Society of CPAs Pay it Forward Program.
Rich was re-elected to the Board of Directors of the SW Chapter of the NJSCPAs at the annual installation dinner on May 20, 2006. The Southwest Chapter provides continuing education for 1,300 CPAs in Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties.
Sue spoke as a Guest Professor to the Federal Tax Accounting Class at RutgersUniversity in Camden on November 9, 2005. The Guest Professor Program is designed to introduce students to successful business people.
Rich was selected to serve on the Advisory Board of the Rutgers-Camden Business Incubator onSeptember 28, 2005. The Rutgers-Camden Business Incubator encourages entrepreneurs to locate their businesses in Camden and assists them with low-cost office and conference space, technical support services and mentoring for successful startup.
Rich was selected as the Leader of the Sports & Entertainment Interest Group for the New Jersey Society of CPAs.The Group takes steps to enhance the ability, visibility and credibility of CPAs as trusted advisors in the sports & entertainment field.
Rich was re-elected to the Executive Board and re-elected Vice President of the Golf Association of Philadelphia at the annual meeting on October 24, 2007 at the Bent Creek Country Club. Rich has served on the junior, finance and long range strategy committees. Better known as the GAP, the Golf Association of Philadelphia is the oldest regional Golf Association in the United States. Its 131 member clubs are spread across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland.
Rich was elected to the Board of Directors of the Irish American Business Chamber & Network (IABCN). IABCN is a nonpartisan business organization promoting the interests of its members and the development of economic, commercial, financial and educational relationships between the United States, Ireland, and Northern Ireland. One of the most important roles that IABCN performs is that of providing a networking forum for business executives, helping them to exchange information and ideas on doing business with one another.
