Dear Money Doctor®, my Financial Advice is:

Throw a high fastball to the head

My story behind the advice is:

I needed a wake-up call and got one from my parents.  I racked up credit card bills that I couldn’t pay off and approached my parents for help.  What I received was a lecture that I’m an adult and responsible for my careless use of credit.  They offered to help buy things that I really needed, like food and rent.  I needed a wake-up call.
